For most young actors, doing their first feature film opposite Keanu Reeves would be mind blowing, but Ada Nicodemou has taken it all in her stride. 'It was lots of fun but I thought when I got the role I would have been a lot more excited than I was, the 21-year-old laughs. 'Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled to have got the part but I guess I just got on with the job. I think my friends were all a lot more excited than me.
Appearing in Keanu's latest movie Matrix, which is being filmed in Sydney, Ada plays an exotic character called DuJour. Ada does a scene with Keanu and admits to being excited as she arrived on set. 'I had never done a movie before and just to see all of the cameras that were being used and the number of behind-the-scenes people was amazing. Then I saw Keanu and I thought, "Wow, I'm actually doing this!"

'The one thing that amazed me was how much smaller he is in the flesh. I hate it when people say that sort of thing about me though. It's just that I really did think he would be a lot bigger than he was.'
After she did the scene with Keanu, Ada says the Speed star thanked her for her time and wished her all the best. So what was it like working with one of Hollywood's hottest hunks? 'Urn, he's not really my type,' Ada says, knowing she is the envy of millions of women worldwide. 'He just seemed really down-to-earth. He knew his lines very well, he was very friendly and not pretentious at all.'
